Amy & Toby | Yellagonga Park
An engagement shoot is a fantastic way to get used to cuddling up close for the camera. Bringing your dog along to the photo shoot is an awesome way to help you to relax and appear natural if you aren’t too comfortable in front of the camera. Here are some of my favourites from my afternoon with Amy & Toby at Yellagonga park. They were just great to work with and I know their wedding is going to be a special day.
I think the big old olive trees made a nice secluded location for photo’s and I love the Golden hour before sunset. The warm glow that falls over your faces and hair, catching in your eyes and glinting. But I am also starting to love the cooler blue/violet dusk light that washes over everything just after the sun goes down.
There doesn’t need to be anything too contrived to have amazing photo’s of you and your partner. Just a sneaky something whispered into their ear, a gentle cuddle. A reminder of why you are together.
Of course chasing after a high-spirited dog can be a laugh too!
I say yes to more fur-babies in engagement shoots. I’ve been lucky enough to shoot quite a few now and I just love it
