Kate & Andy | Matilda Bay Restaurant

Matilda Bay makes a beautiful place for a wedding ceremony. The views over the water with the city in the background are gorgeous for the photos and the guests but Kate and Andy only had eyes for each other. Exchanging vows under the huge old trees on the foreshore, it was so special to be a part of it and we were so thankful to be invited to capture their most special day.

We wandered the shore after the ceremony and were treated to a visit by the local black swans. Then we went to the jetty nearby for some pictures before the party started in Matilda Bay Restaurant. The tables were beautifully styled by Touched by Angels and there were many laughs during the speeches. I just love it when the best man spills the beans on all the antics they get up to as a kid. It’s also heartwarming to see the fathers watch and welcome their loved ones spouses into their families and to see their loved ones move into the next chapter of their lives.
