As a new mum myself I am all too aware of a mother’s love for their little one. I had the opportunity to photograph Leanne, a vibrant personality, with her partner Russ and sweet baby boy, Will, in a lifestyle shoot like no other. Babies can be a little unpredictable and Will sized me up with a wary eye at first but then with a bit of encouragement and some cuddles from mum he soon shared some of his smiles.
What a lucky boy to have such loving parents and what lucky parents to have such a perfect little prince! There is something about little baby toes that just hits me in the feels every time. Such tiny little precious toes and sweet little innocent gurgly smiles and laughs. There is nothing like capturing these little treasures and it’s so important to do it right now because before you know it they will be all grown up and asking for your car keys! The best thing you could do is to organise a photo shoot with your children – no matter what age they are – because they will appreciate it when they grow up and you will have this little snapshot of what your babes were like when they young.
