Have you ever wondered what an engagement shoot is for? We use it as a way for our couples to get used to cuddling in close for pictures, the really dreamy romantic kind. We also find it a great way to get to know our couples that little bit more before their big day and for them to get to know us. I just adored how Milka’s dress flowed in the breeze here, she also organised a hair and make-up trial at the same time which was a brilliant idea. You can see in the progression of images that when the sun sets it gives that golden glow and warms up the images.
Milka and Alex were so much fun to photograph, I only gave them a few directions about where to stand and move etc but their connections were genuine and I knew that their wedding day was going to be something else!
