I first had the pleasure of photographing this sweet little girl shortly after being born and am now delighted to be able to capture her as a toddler. My long time friend came over from Sydney and I couldn’t pass up this chance to catch up and see how much Ella had changed. A morning of exploring and having fun at King’s Park in Perth was enough to fascinate Ella and allow me to capture some sweet memories.
King’s Park has lots of places to run, bridges to cross and play areas to explore. With a cafe nearby it makes for a great place to come with a toddler and to grab a coffee yourself. Toddlers have such an innocent curiosity, nothing gets missed. I can’t wait to enjoy such moments with my own little one. The simple activity of walking along the edge of a pond to watch some ducks with mama allowed me the time to just slow the pace for a second and capture her fascination.
I hope I get the opportunity to photograph Sweet Ella as she grows older, I’d love to see her personality develop and come through in the pictures. Here are just a few of my favourites..
