Amongst a week of rainy and windy days, there was this glorious stunner of a day. Perfect for a wedding at Portofinos restaurant in Mindarie, right near the beach. It was an absolute pleasure to photograph Yvette and Henk exchanging their vows in front of their friends and family. Some coming all the way from Weipa, Qld!
Yvette looked elegant in a navy dress with a white wrap to ward off the cold. The pops of red in the roses and her bridal party’s outfits looked so vibrant against the blue of the sky and sea! Just gorgeous. How adorable were their grand-children toddling down the aisle with petals to sprinkle on the carpet? Too cute.
A beautiful, personal touch was Yvette being driven to the ceremony in her father’s old Holden car, detailed and brought all the way over here from SA. There must have been many wonderful memories come back seeing the family car again. We spent some time on the nearby beach capturing some precious moments of just Yvette & Henk together, and they did an amazing job being relaxed and having some fun in front of the camera. I’m so thankful for being a part of your day.
